Chilford Hall Wedding Fair - 1st Feb 09

Friday, January 30th, 2009

Chilford Hall is host to one of the biggest and best Wedding Fairs around. The exhibition is now firmly established as the largest wedding fair to be held in the region, helping more brides to plan their wedding day.

I will be attending with my range of Queensberry album, along with a wide range of other specialist companies - all of which have experts on the stands to give advice in their friendly and informal atmosphere of the Wedding Fair. My stand will be situated in the ‘gallery’ and I will be more than happy to talk and discus your wedding photography requirements.

A highlight of the day is the popular Fashion Show, featuring wedding outfits for Brides, Grooms, Bridesmaids, Page Boys and mother of the Bride. The Fashion Show will take place at 12:30pm and 2:30pm to give everyone an opportunity to sit down and get a feel for how they want to look on their Special Day.

I hope to see you there.

Shoot the Dress

Sunday, January 18th, 2009

I decided to introduce the ‘Shoot the Dress’  session for a bride that wanted to wear her dress again after the wedding. The thing I didn’t realise was just how popular this style of shoot would become!! 50% of this years brides have now booked or enquired about the shoot.

Brides are beginning to see how much fun this shoot can be, why get the dress dry cleaned and put it in a cupboard for years wondering what to do with it. Now the bride can wear the dress again and have some amazing images taken whilst having fun, then it can be dry cleaned before putting away.

Below are some of the images from the last shoot I did on the Norfolk coast with Tori, a bride who’s wedding I photographed last year. Tori met me with her mum on a cold and wet winter morning looking very excited yet apprehensive.

It is unbelievable to think that an hour before the shoot the sky was black and you couldn’t see six feet in front of you for the rain. Even Tori’s mum didn’t realise just what fun we would all have despite the cold conditions.

If this style of shoot interests you, please call the studio for more information and to discuss the fun you could have putting that dress on once again.
