Yesterday I was in the village of Barnack photographing Olivia and Charlie along with their two adopted donkeys and a new puppy. They say don’t work with children and animals which is something I have always disagreed with, but maneuvering donkeys in to position is no easy task.
Yesterday I was at Hinchingbrooke House near Huntingdon to photograph the wedding of Rachel & Mark. With great weather and a fantastic venue, I was able to use all my creative talents to produce some beautiful images of the happy couple.
The weather in Ketton was a perfect for the lifestyle shoot of the Elsden family. I had a great time with young Harry exploring the fantastic gardens surrounding the house and with everything from stone walls to old trees, I was spoilt for choice with locations.
Today I visited a lovely thatched cottage in the country side to shoot the lifestyle session of Ruth and Bern. The weather was amazing, with the sun lighting up the old cottage and beautiful gardens perfectly. I must say the gardens were one of the nicest I’ve shot in this year and are a credit to the couple.
On Saturday I photographed the wedding of Tracey & James at Newland Hall near Chelmsford. James surprised all his family and friends by having Tracey brought to the ceremony in a helicopter and with great weather and an amazing venue, the wedding was always going to be one to remember. I was asked to stay and photograph the speeches and first dance and can honestly say I havn’t laughed so much listening to a grooms speech.
I had my first Cherish the Gown shoot yesterday with Gemma Carroll at Hinchingbrooke House near Huntingdon. We chose Hinchingbrooke House because of it’s amazing interior features which I thought would show off Gemma’s dress perfectly. We set up shots in several rooms in the house but my favourite shot is the full length of Gemma looking up.
I had a great shoot this morning with Ursula and Richard who will be getting married in August. The young and happy couple were a dream to photograph as we used various backdrops around the studio and river area. Again the weather was on our side which gave us very rich colours in the backgrounds.
Last week I photographed the pre wedding of Hayley & Scott who will be getting married at Swynford Paddocks in August. Another perfect day of weather produced some great shots of the happy couple.
I have just returned from a fun family lifestyle shoot with three great children, Hamish, Lilly and Evie. With such a big garden to play in, we were able to do the whole shoot without even leaving the family home. I knew the instant I had taken the shot of little Evie on the rope swing that I was on to a winner and it is now my favorite of 2009. The children all seemed to have a fun time and we even had chance for them to learn a little photography and take a few shots of their own.
Today I had the pleasure of photographing the wedding of Emma & Chris at Barrington Hall, near Cambridge. The happy couple had a civil ceremony in the Hall and then enjoyed champagne and canapes on the lawn. Barrington Hall is an inspirational venue when photographing a wedding and Emma & Chris were the perfect couple letting me run free with my ideas. The rain threatened us for a lot of the afternoon, but luckily held off until the last shot had been taken. A fantastic day.
