I have been looking forward to the wedding of Joanna & Anthony for several weeks but was afraid the day would be washed out by the recent rain we have been experiencing. I do sometimes think the weather men and women don’t know what they are doing as the day was blessed with glorious sunshine. The wedding had a country theme  with the bride and groom being transfered to the venue by boat and the evening entertainment provided by a ceilidh band, hog roast and disco.

Yesterday I had the privilege to photograph the Indian wedding of Jyoti & Sam in Chadderton near Oldham. It was my first Indian wedding and one I’ll never forget, with the ceremony being the nicest I have ever experienced. The couple are having an English wedding later in the year at Normanton Park Hotel on the edge of Rutland water and a combination of the two ceremonies will make an amazing album.

What a glorious day we had at Ely for the wedding of Sandy & Mathew. The wedding ceremony was held at St Marys church with the reception at the families home complete with the most fantastic marque and kettle drum band. I had a great day and really didn’t want to leave the party atmosphere.
