I did a hair shoot a Molby’s Hair Salon in Huntingdon, Cambridgeshire this afternoon. Our model, Amy had her hair styled twice to see the difference between two desired looks. The images are being used for the Loreal colour trophy competition.

The events organiser at Barrington Hall near Cambridge booked me to shoot some corporate interior images earlier this week. Barrington has a great reputation as a classy wedding venue but they now want to bring in more corporate clients and the shots would be used as advertising. As well as Barrington being one of the best wedding venues in Cambridgeshire, it will also make a fantastic venue for any business or company that wish to hold a relaxed business lunch or dinner, important conference or discreet meeting. The amazing rooms at Barrington would also provide a great setting for a Charity Ball, Christmas celebration or an intimate dinner for friends and family. Whilst I was there, I also took a few shots of the marque which is due to come down for a few weeks for it’s yearly clean.

I met Flora in St Ives on Wednesday to shoot some shots for her letting agency business in Cambridge. After getting the images she required the shoot then developed in to a mini lifestyle session. It was a very cold day and Flora seemed to cope well with my one more shot routine.

I shot my first wedding of the year yesterday at Hambleton Hall near Oakham in Rutland. I must admit I arrived with some relief for the wedding of Karen and Bram after a stressful drive in the severe snowy conditions. The Hall looked beautiful covered in snow and Karen and Bram where both up for some fun and we had a great time outside playing in the snow. I must say what a great shot Karen’s sister Rachel is with a snowball and I was lucky enough to capture a shot as a perfectly aimed snowball hit Karen on the back of the head, happily she saw the funny side!!
