I will be exhibiting at the Normanton Park Hotel Wedding Fair this Sunday from 11am until 4pm. Normanton Park offers a beautiful back drop for your wedding day and is situated within 5 acres of gardens and parkland overlooking Rutland Water. The perfect surroundings for those all important pictures and an amazing day.

Swynford Paddocks near Newmarket was the venue for my wedding yesterday and what a day we had. I had my work cut out with Paul being around 6ft 6in tall and Victoria, well lets just say she was a lot shorter! I knew the positioning of the couple would be vital if I wanted to maintain the intimate romantic style my couples know and book me for. But after the pre wedding shoot, I knew Victoria and Paul would be great fun to work with and we got some stunning shots through the day. It was also nice to emphasize the height difference in some quirky shots that I hope the couple will love as much as I do.

Wow, what a great shoot I have just had with Victoria and Kieran at the studio. We ventured out into Fenstanton for their pre wedding session not knowing how they would be in front of the camera and I wasn’t disappointed with the results. Victoria and Kieran are a great couple to work with, relaxed, fun and most of all in love. We had a great time and got some stunning images. Not only will their wedding be a day to remember and photograph, but I am already getting excited about the idea of their ‘Cherish the Dress’ shoot.

Yesterday I had the pleasure in photographing the wedding of Nicola and Daniel at The Old Brideg Hotel, Huntingdon. The Old Bridge is a lovely venue that serves fantastic food and is an ideal setting for a boutique wedding. I chose a few new locations for the couple shots, as they say, variety is the spice of life and it’s always good to keep your ideas fresh. Nicola and Daniel were great fun to work with and really relaxed as the day unfolded leaving me with some great shots to incorporate in the album design.

Today I visited the lovely village of Alconbury for the pre wedding shoot of Jo and Andrew. I drove there through light rain which luckily lifted when I arrived and we were able to get some lovely shots of the couple. Most of the shoot was spent having fun next to the village green and the brook made a lovely backdrop for the more romantic shots.

Queensberry have just released a sneak preview of their new album, the Musee. With pages made from beautiful archival cotton based watercolour papers from the same paper mill that Monet bought his papers from and a leather cover from the same mill that supplies to Hermes, a box design that dates back to the voyages of Captain Cook…

I think the Musee will attract a lot of attention and give the bride and groom that want something extra special a dream album. As soon as I can get an example, I’ll let all my clients know.

We had more nice weather today for the pre wedding shoot of Sharon and Dave. The couple were great fun to work with and seemed to really enjoy themselves whilst I dragged them around Fenstanton. The happy couple are getting married in April at Hinchingbroke House near Huntingdon and I’m sure the day is going to be a real blast and so much fun to shoot.

With the sun out and shinning, I was able to get some great pre wedding shots of Janine & Paul this morning at locations around my studio in Fenstanton. The happy couple are getting married later in in the year at the Hotel Felix in Cambridge and judging on todays shoot they will be great fun to be around on the wedding day.

I find a good run before work always helps clear my head but I was confronted by a torrent of flood water on my regular route this morning and had to make a major detour. Godmanchester normally gets a fair bit of water as it’s river runs passed England’s largest meadow. Portholme meadow is a local flood plane and generally fills up with water from the Great Ouse every winter, but to see the local footpaths and children’s play park like this meant I had to return later on with my faithful i-phone to get a few shots.
