GB Olympic Archery Squad

May 2016

Now don't get me wrong, I love shooting weddings and lifestyle portraits, but when we got asked help shoot the GB Olymoic Archery Squads, Lewis and I were thrilled. It was going to be a unique experince that most photographers would love to be involved with. The shoot which lasted two days saw my best friend and very talent photographer Adam Sorenson shooting all of the able bodied and paraplegic archers on location with my assitant Lewis shooting shooting a documentry style set of images. I was given the studio and tasked to shoot variuos advertising shots with Olympic medals and the GB flag. These are a few of Lewis's shots and take it from me, it was one of the most technically difficult jobs to capture an arrow that is being relaesd at 250ft per second.
