Busy few days ahead

We have a busy few days in the studio coming up with a wedding at Burghley House on Friday and another wedding at the Cambridge Hilton on Saturday. Cameras and lights are all packed in anticipation, fingers crossed the weather holds out!!

We had some better weather yesterday for the pre wedding shoot of Sarah and Ben at Burwash Manor, Cambridge. The Secret Garden at Burwash is an idilic venue for a country wedding and suites the couples vintage theme, with plenty of bunting and shaped hearts.

Hayley & Gary’s Queensberry Album

Hayley & Gary got married at Chilford Hall near Cambridge in September 2011 so I thought it was about time I got some shots of their album uploaded. With a stunning contemporary leather cover and a mixture of white and black digital pages, I’m sure that the album will be cherished for many years.

Arena UK, British Showjumping

We were at Arena UK Equestrian Centre today to photograph various riders at affiliated level. The weather though very cold started off dry and bright for the British Novice but turned to heavy hail for the Discovery round!!! I just wish this British weather would make it’s mind up, or even better, let’s have summer now…….

One of my favourite venues in the Cambridge area is Barrington Hall. Barrington is a beautiful estate dating back to the late 17th century and with endless photo opportunities makes a stunning wedding backdrop. These are a few of my favourite shots from a 2011 Barrington Hall wedding.

I seem to know more about wedding dresses than I do cars these days, and whilst looking over some weddings from last year, I found a couple of shots that show the most beautiful dress. This was a Cambridge wedding and I find that this type of style is very popular for the area.

Another very happy couple leave the studio with their beautiful Queensberry wedding album. Rachel and Jason got married at Orton Hall, Peterborough and their new album contains some perfect memories of their big day. With a graphite buckram cover and mixture of white and black pages, the images from what was a glorious day are now displayed perfectly.
