Yesterdays wedding was a real scorcher and I had so much fun with Jacqui & Paul at Barrington Hall near Cambridge. The couple got married at Sepreth Church before heading off to Barrington in a funky little Morris Minor convertible, which looked so cool in the beautiful weather. The whole day had a touch of class and at one stage during the drinks reception, we even had a helicopter fly past, I’m not sure if it was planned or not, but it was a special moment for the bride and groom and had the guests reaching for their cameras..

I shot Jaqcui and Pauls pre wedding shoot at the studio last Friday and even though the sun was shining you could still feel the nip in the air, how I long for the warmer months to arrive. Jacqui and Paul will be getting married in May at Shepreth church with their reception at the beautiful Barrington Hall near Cambridge. Barrington is a great venue to hold a wedding reception at and it will be a real pleasure to be a part of this special day.

The weather had been a bit gloomy all week and the weather men told us not to expect to much sun on Saturday, but how wrong they were as I woke up to glorious sunshine for Sarah and Simons big day. The happy couple got married at Barrington church near Cambridge before heading off to Barrington Hall for their reception. With a beautiful church and glorious venue I knew it was going to be a good day which would produce some stunning images. My highlight of the day was an evening photo shoot in Barrington woods, it was so dark I had my work cut out getting the look I wanted.

I had another great time yesterday at the wedding of Sandrine and Chris at the beautiful Barrington Hall near Cambridge. It was a unique wedding as a lot of Sandrines family had travelled from France and both the service and speeches were repeated in both English and French. I felt relatively fresh after a twelve hour day, as I had met Chris at Barrington at 9am for the groom preparation shots and took the last image at 8:45pm when Samdrine and Chris had their first dance, a really cool latin number.

I have just returned from a great pre wedding shoot with Sarah and Simon who will be getting married at the beautiful Barrington Hall in September. I met the couple in Godmanchester and spent the morning exploring the surrounding countryside and shooting some beautiful images. The weather was glorious which really brought out the richness and colours in the greenery and rivers and Sarah and Simon really got in to the shoot and seemed to relax in minutes getting in to the romantic swing of things. Hopefully they left enjoying the shoot as much as I did and will appreciate the fun shot we did in the graveyard?
