Nicola & Daniel Pre Wedding Shoot

Saturday, February 13th, 2010

I had the pleasure of shooting the pre wedding session of Nicola and Daniel at my studio in Fenstanton this morning. The weather was consistent yet again and we had to contend with both snow showers and the cold, but the smiles and laughter never stopped and the couple seemed to enjoy themselves. There are some great locations around the studio and both Nicola and Daniel really got in to the shoot and the urban feel we introduced. They are getting married in March at the Old Bridge Hotel, Huntingdon, a great wedding venue on the edge of the Great Ouse.

Flora’s commercial/lifestyle shoot

Saturday, January 23rd, 2010

I met Flora in St Ives on Wednesday to shoot some shots for her letting agency business in Cambridge. After getting the images she required the shoot then developed in to a mini lifestyle session. It was a very cold day and Flora seemed to cope well with my one more shot routine.

Morris Family Lifestyle

Saturday, December 19th, 2009

This was one of the coldest shoots I have done for several years. The temperature was hovering around -2 degrees and after twenty minutes outside, you could really feel the cold. However, the Morris family didn’t let the cold weather and snow stop them from having some  fun and the shots really have a wintery feel. We chose Brampton Woods near Huntingdon for the location of the shoot, a perfect background at this time of the year.

Cockshot Family Lifestyle

Friday, November 20th, 2009

Today I dodged the weather to shoot the Cockshot family portrait at Brampton Mill near Huntingdon, Cambridgshire. There was no chance of putting this portrait off as one of the family members had flown in from Canada and this was the only date available. With constant showers we had to keep seeking shelter under umbrellas and a railway viaduct which provided a great background for some of the images.
