Michele & Tony’s wedding at Hinchingbrooke House near Huntingdon

Monday, March 14th, 2011

Wow, what an exciting day I had at the wedding of Michele and Tony at Hinchingbrooke House near Huntingdon. The weather on Saturday was great, which allowed us to get outside and venture in to Hinchingbrookes lovely grounds. It was so nice to see the daffodils in the woods, a perfect chance for some romantic shots of the couple.

Sam & Harry’s Pre Wedding Shoot, Cambridge

Saturday, February 26th, 2011

A busy week started with the pre wedding shoot of Sam and Harry at my studio near Cambridge. Sam and Harry will be getting married later in the year at a venue I love shooting at, Hinchingbrooke House near Huntingdon. They were such a great couple to photograph and seemed to relax in front of the camera within minutes, making my job a real pleasure and confirming my thoughts that their wedding would be a fun day to remember.

Liz & Ed’s wedding at Hinchingbrooke House, Huntingdon

Monday, December 20th, 2010

Well the last wedding of the year went with out any problems even though we were apparently due heavy snow. Liz and Ed got married at the St Ives Methodist church with their reception at Hinchingbrooke House near Huntingdon, Cambridgeshire. We did experience some bitterly cold weather with the temperature reaching −5 in the evening, but this did not put the happy couple off and we got some great shots done outside. I’m really jealous now as we have to contend with temperatures that are due to drop to −15, whilst Liz and Ed will now be soaking up the sun in Barbados.

Liz & ed’s Pre Wedding shoot

Thursday, October 28th, 2010

Liz and Ed will be getting married at Hinchingbrooke House near Huntingdon later on this year and we thought it was about time we got their pre wedding images shot. We met at the studio and decided to venture out in to Fenstanton, an area Liz knows well from her childhood. Hinchingbrooke House is a beautiful wedding venue to hold a winter wedding and with such a great relaxed couple, I’m sure the images will be memories they will cherish forever.

Jayne & Alex at Hinchingbrooke House, Huntingdon

Sunday, October 24th, 2010

Well I think the winter wedding season is now upon us and yesterday was the first time this year that I have noticed the cold, I must remember to wear a long sleeved shirt for the rest of this years weddings. Jayne and Alex got married at Hinchingbrooke House near Huntingdon and I was privileged to be a part of their big day. It may have rained, with freezing cold icy wind but nothing was going to put this happy couple off and I got all the shots I could have dreamed of. My favourite shot of the day is the one of Alex’s speech, I’m sure the guests will all remember what he said and never let him forget!!!

2011 wedding bookings

Wednesday, October 13th, 2010

Yet another great week at the studio with two new Queensberry album designs completed and four more confirmed bookings for 2011 and 2012 weddings. I shoot a maximum of 25 weddings a year to ensure I keep my business exclusive and more importantly, to keep me fresh and inspired. Wedding photography is a passion for me, a lifestyle rather than a job and I feel that taking to many wedding bookings each year could turn my love of weddings in to a production line!!!

Jayne & Alex Pre Wedding Shoot

Wednesday, September 15th, 2010

The light was dropping and it had just stopped raining when I arrived at Jayne and Alex’s for their pre wedding shoot, so all in all, not a perfect evening for photography. But you are nearly always guaranteed that  the sun will shine when working with such a happy fun couple. Jayne and Alex are getting married at Hinchingbrooke House next month and it should prove to be a memorable and fun day,  a day I am looking forward to as I love the quality of light we get later in the year.

Sharon & Dave Wedding

Sunday, April 11th, 2010

Hinchingbrook House near Huntingdon was the venue for yesterdays wedding of Sharon and Dave. We had a great day and the weather was fantastic which enabled  the guests to enjoy drinks on the patio area while I took the happy couple around the house grounds. The evening was topped off when the wedding party let of twenty chinese lanterns.

Sharon & Dave Pre Wedding Shoot

Saturday, March 6th, 2010

We had more nice weather today for the pre wedding shoot of Sharon and Dave. The couple were great fun to work with and seemed to really enjoy themselves whilst I dragged them around Fenstanton. The happy couple are getting married in April at Hinchingbroke House near Huntingdon and I’m sure the day is going to be a real blast and so much fun to shoot.
