Slow start to 2012

Thursday, January 12th, 2012

Well 2012 has started slow for me as I struggle to overcome a bad case of bronchitis? I was hoping to get back in to the studio on the 6th January but, the more work I do, the worse my chest infection gets?? I’m working from home at present and will be taking it easy until things clear up for good. Apologies to those of you that are waiting for an email or call, I will get around to it and I’m answering my messages as quickly as possible.

Winter Wedding Fairs

Wednesday, November 16th, 2011

Well the weddings are dying down for this year but it’s time to start planning next years winter and spring wedding fairs. As of today, I am booked up to do the following fairs early next year - Hinchingbrooke House near Huntingdon, Bedford Lodge in Newmarket, Wood Green near Huntingdon, Chilford Hall near Cambridge, Normanton Park Hotel near Stamford. I will confirm the dates nearer the time but it’s going to be a busy start to the year.

Sarah & Chris’s Wedding at the Old Bridge Hotel, Huntingdon

Monday, October 3rd, 2011

Saturday was apparently the hottest day in October for over a hundred years and I must say, I felt it. I shouldn’t complain though, as Chris was melting in his traditional kilt and jacket, he did look the part though. Sarah wore a beautiful dress that just shone when the light hit it and complimented Chris in his kilt when I shot them on the banks of the River Ouse.

Sarah & Chris married at the Old Bridge Hotel

Saturday, October 1st, 2011

Just a quick preview of Sarah and Chris’s wedding at the Old Bridge Hotel, Huntingdon. These are my two favourite iconic images from the day, to me they really capture the spirit of this special wedding at such an amazing venue. More blog images will follow over the next few days, once I cool down that is, god it was so hot lol.

Old Bridge Hotel wedding

Friday, September 30th, 2011

Tomorrows weather looks like it is going to be a real scorcher for the wedding of Sarah and Chris, not bad for October. The happy couple will be tying the knot at the beautiful Old Bridge Hotel set on the banks of the River Ouse near Huntingdon. I’m spoilt for choice background wise at this venue, but I’ll be looking for something a little different tomorrow.

Victoria & Paul’s wedding at Hinchingbrooke House

Sunday, September 11th, 2011

Hinchingbrooke House is a very popular venue for me and I have to push my imagination at every wedding to give the bride and groom something new. Yesterday, I took Victoria and Paul in to the rose garden for what turned out to be a very romantic shoot at a time when the couple just needed a break from the hustle and bustle of the day.
