Well that’s the last wedding design done for the season so it’s time to hibernate and just pop out for the few remaining lifestyle sessions and the odd snow ball fight if the weather gets colder? The new system for album designs has worked well this year and apart from two which need finalising, all the wedding albums are complete and in production at Queensberry.

Wow it was so wet for the pre wedding and lifestyle shoot for Sally and Andy, not forgetting Molly & Beau who seemed to enjoy the rain!! We met at Wicken Fen thinking it was going to be a little drier than the two other planned shoots that we had to cancel due to the wet summer weather!! Sally and Andy will be getting married at the end of August in Italy and then I’ll be photographing a church blessing and reception at the Farmers Club, Bury St Edmunds.

I will be exhibiting at the Hinchingbrooke House wedding fair tomorrow, the 25th March. The fair opens at 11am and closes at 4pm with fashion shows at 12:00 and 2pm. I hope to see some of you there for a chat and a glass of wine. We will have all our new Queensberry sample albums for you to see and touch, lol.

Today I visited one of the nicest wedding venues I’ve ever seen, Leez Priory. Winner of Wedding Ideas Magazine ‘Best Wedding Venue’ two years running (2007 & 2008), this magnificent Tudor mansion is one of the most sought after wedding venues in the country and has nearly twenty years of experience in providing perfect wedding days. Set in 40 acres of parkland, complete with lakes, lawns and a sweeping driveway, Leez Priory is offered to you exclusively for your wedding day. I will be there capturing the wedding of Holly & Stewart in May, and I simply can’t wait.

Louise & Guy will be getting married in just less than a month at the Bedford Swan Hotel. We shot their pre wedding shoot in St Ives on Friday afternoon, the sun had gone in and it was rather cold but we still had fun, chattering teeth and all. The wedding itself is on April fools day, so I’m half expecting to turn up and find them laughing at me!! Seriously though, this is a wedding I’m really looking forward to as we have so many funky ideas for images, it should prove to be a fab day.

This Sunday I will be exhibiting at the Wood Green Animal Shelter wedding fair from 11am until 4pm. Several of the counties leading suppliers will have stands at the fair, enabling a bride and groom to get everything they want from dresses to cars and all in one place. The doors open at 11am with fashion shows at 12 and 2pm.

Well 2012 has started slow for me as I struggle to overcome a bad case of bronchitis? I was hoping to get back in to the studio on the 6th January but, the more work I do, the worse my chest infection gets?? I’m working from home at present and will be taking it easy until things clear up for good. Apologies to those of you that are waiting for an email or call, I will get around to it and I’m answering my messages as quickly as possible.
