So as a lot of you have already guessed, Saturday's shoot was initially a secret as people dressed as the faces of emoji for a Guinness World Record attempt in celebration of World Emoji Day.
Some 531 people simutaniously dressed as the emoji characters at several major cities around the world, including the winking face, smiling face, pizza and poop emoji.
We gathered with lot's of Emoji fans near Westminster for the London part of the challenge, which came two days ahead of World Emoji Day. The successful attempt also coincided with the upcoming worldwide release of The Emoji Movie and we feel privileged to have been a part of the big event.

We travelled to Ipswich last week to get some publicity shots SPAL who manufacture various size industrial fans. One of these fans is developed for GAH Transport Refrigeration Ltd, who fit the units to vehicles for most of the main supermarket delivery vans. We love shooting jobs like this as they can be so interesting and so different to the normal lifestyle portraits and weddings we shoot.
Earlier this week, we had the privilage to be asked by Sony Pictures to cover the premier stunt for the new Magnificent Seven movie in Leicester Square, London. The shoot was to commence at 5am and so we were collected from our hotel in Finchley at 4am, along with seven very tired and mean looking cowboys, and we would rendezvous with the horses in the centre of London. The expression on peoples faces as they left the clubs and casinos was a real look of shock and wonder! The entrance to the Hypodrome became packed with a disbelieving crowd as the riders galloped through the streets looking for the best shots. We love these type of Commercial photography shoots, they are so different to weddings, and really get the creative juices flowing.

It's great to break the week up with a cool commercial shoot and GE Aviation gave me some headaches as Health & Safety meant I was very restricted with what I could and could not do. I had to change in to what looked like a chemical warfare outfit and once I had moved all of the camera and lighting cases in to the sterile areas I would be working, the creativity could begin. I do love these sort of jobs as each shot the client wants tends to be different and the lighting and equipment needed can change every few minutes. The ringflash was very handy on this shoot and gave me the accessibility and controlled lighting I wanted.
We had a really cool job recently with SF Engineering in St Ives, Cambridgeshire. They called and booked a days shoot, explaining that they needed interior shots of their building and equipment along with individual shots of the workers. I was also informed that there would be a celeb guest apperance, but they couldn't say much more at that stage. When I arrived to be told that the great explorer Ranulph Fiennes would be opening a new building and taking delivery of a new piece of exploration equipment that he would be using on his next visit to the North Pole, I was to excited for words.
