Maria & Souel's big day at The Old Hall, Ely

October 2017

We are all set for tomorrow's big wedding adventure at The Old Hall, Ely with Maria and Souel. We met the couple a few months ago for their pre wedding shoot at our local nature reserve and after that we were in no doubt that their wedding images will be stunning.

The Old Hall Ely is one of our favouritre venues to shoot at and as a recommneded supplier we find that we are there for about twelve weddings a year. It's great going back to the same venue so often as we feel a part of the venues wedding team, which at The Old Hall is more like a big family, BUT we don't want to get in to the situation of taking the same shots week in week out and so re try to re-create ourselves and shoot something totally fresh and new for every wedding.

It's a late wedding with a 3pm ceremony in the beautiful Normanton Church on the edge of Rutland Water, followed by an intimate evening reception at the stunning Burghley House near Stamford. Steph & Matt, Chippenham Park, Newmarket

September 2017

The big day has finally arrived and we are on another Chippenham Park wedding adventure with Steph and Matt. Chippenham Park is situated in the most stunning grounds just a few miles from Newmarket and is now becoming one of our favorutie wedding venues. We are shooting three weddings at Chippenham this year and this one is going to be a scorcher according to the weather men. The couple are planning an outside ceremony on the banks of the river which will be our first and very cool for photographs, before we head back to the house for the formal drinks reception and group shots.

Katrina & Callum's big day

August 2017

We will be travelling to the beautiful village of Wicken tomorrow, for the wedding of Katrina and Callum. The couple will be getting married at St Laurence church, followed by a marque reception at the Maids Head Pub, which has been run by Katrinas family for several years. With a stop off at the Wicken Windmill for some location shots, the day should prove to be full of fun and laughter, we just love these country style weddings.

Rachael & James, Burleigh Hill Farm, St Ives

August 2017

We are on a local wedding adventure tomorrow with Rachael & James at Burleigh Hill Farm near St Ives. The weather is looking great and we are raring to go.

We will first be dropping into see both the bride and the groom getting ready at their parents homes in Hemmingford before heading off to St Margarets Church in Hemmingford Abbots. Getting the preparation shots of both the groom and the bride is rare for photographers these days, but we think it is important for a couple to see the other getting ready. There are so many laughs and fun times before the ceremony and it would be a real shame to miss these memories. Not every couple put these shots in their Queensberry album, but it's always worth having them and 99% of brides want their album to show this part of the day.

At it's very heart, Queensberry began out of a desire to design and make beautiful things. In 1969, in Auckland New Zealand, with no money but plenty of enthusiasm, a young Heather Baugh decided that she'd like to make her mother a leather handbag.

Coming from a family of artists and designers, creativity was in her DNA, and she soon discovered an affinity for leather that led her to start her own handcraft leather business.

Heather made albums from the start, and as the family business continued to grow Queensberry's partnership with photographers created a strong foundation. Today, every product and service under the Queensberry brand must stand up to the test of making life for the professional photographer simpler, more profitable and more fun, from beautiful products and presentation, to online hosting and e-commerce.

At the same time we never forget Heather's insight that we, with our photographer partners, are here to serve those "strangers in the viewfinder" by crafting their memories into treasured possessions that tell their unique stories.
